Gem-Pack Berries has promoted Amanda Holland to director of foodservice. In her new role, Holland will lead the company’s foodservice category and continued growth of its year-round strawberry, blackberry, blueberry and raspberry portfolios in the United States.
Holland joined Gem-Pack Berries last year as a foodservice manager, bringing more than five years of experience in the foodservice industry. Since joining the company, Gem-Pack says she has played an essential role in developing its foodservice program and developing relationships with customers.
“As our sales team has grown and evolved, new opportunities have arisen in foodservice and Mandy has stepped forward and shined,” says Paul Kawamura, chief revenue officer and head of sales, for Gem-Pack Berries. “We are excited about the professionalism and potential she adds to our team.”
As director of foodservice, the company says Holland will continue to focus on strengthening customer relationships while identifying new opportunities for the growing foodservice category.
“What I enjoy most about my job is the relationships I’ve built with customers and being part of growing our Foodservice program,” Holland says. “There are always new challenges to work through, and I enjoy finding solutions, supporting our customers and continuing to learn more about the industry along the way. I’m excited for the opportunity to continue growing our foodservice business and building on the strong relationships we have with our customers and partners.”
