Crown Jewels Produce, Nogales, Ariz., will significantly increase the amount of green beans the company brings in from West Mexico this season, said Jesus Gonzalez, general manager.

The company also will have a new hothouse bell pepper deal out of central Mexico, which will cross through Edinburg, Texas, Gonzalez said. Red, yellow and orange bell peppers will be hydroponically grown in greenhouses, he said, and will be available from mid-December through June.
