Del Monte Fresh to showcase film-sealed fruit cups

Coral Gables, Fla.-based Del Monte Fresh Produce will showcase Del Monte’s new film-sealed fruit cups at the July 26-27 Produce Marketing Association Foodservice Conference and Expo in Monterey, Calif.

Coral Gables, Fla.-based Del Monte Fresh Produce will showcase Del Monte’s new film-sealed fruit cups at the July 26-27 Produce Marketing Association Foodservice Conference and Expo in Monterey, Calif.

The film-sealed cups recently won the 2019 United Fresh New Product Innovation Award for Best New Packaging, according to a news release.

Mann Packing Co, owned by Del Monte Fresh Produce, will be debuting Caulilini baby cauliflower florets at the PMA Foodservice expo, according to the release. The florets are available in a 3-count 2-pound pack designed for the foodservice industry, according to the release.

At the Mann Packing booth, Tony Baker, a chef at Montrio Bistro in Monterey, Calif., and member of Mann’s Chef Panel, will prepare Roasted Caulilini baby cauliflower with sumac, celery leaves and dried cherries, and Del Monte avocado gelato.

The release said Mann Packing and Del Monte Fresh Produce will be at booth No. 909 and booth No. 1214, respectively.
