DNO Inc. awarded $17M contract

DNO Inc. has been awarded a maximum $17.02 million government contract to supply fresh fruits and vegetables, according to a news release.

Columbus, Ohio-based DNO Inc. has been awarded a maximum $17.02 million fixed-price with economic price adjustment, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity government contract for fresh fruits and vegetables, according to a news release.

The contracting agency is Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support, Philadelphia, Pa.

“We are thrilled to provide fresh fruits and vegetables for children across the state of West Virginia,” said Marissa Dake, Director of Communications. “Many children count on school lunch for their most nutritious meal of the day and fresh fruits and vegetables are fundamental to this cause. We look forward to working with the Department of Defense and schools across the state.”

The four-year, six-month contract was a competitive acquisition with two responses received, according to the release. The location of the performance is West Virginia, with a Dec. 5, 2026, ordering period end date, the release said.

Customers are Army and Department of Agriculture schools, according to the release.
