On the final day of the United Fresh Washington Conference, two former Secretaries of Agriculture will discuss their presidential picks.

Jack Block, USDA Secretary during the Reagan administration, and Dan Glickman, USDA Secretary during the Clinton administration, will present their arguments on Sept. 14, with Tom Stenzel, president and CEO of United Fresh, moderating the discussion, according to a news release.

Block will advocate for a Trump presidency, while Glickman will advocate for a Clinton presidency.

Stenzel, who said the industry as a whole has great respect for both individuals, will be posing questions to each of them.

“Both of these gentlemen were strong leaders for all of agriculture, and forged many bipartisan agreements in past farm bills, as well as addressing other issues,” said Stenzel in the release.
