The Packer is looking for insight into local and regional produce marketing for its July 10 issue.

The survey, available at this link, asks produce marketers to give their insights on the ways that local produce marketing fits into their overall marketing efforts.

Questions include:

  • What are some ways that your produce business has marketed produce locally or regionally?
  • How do you prepare consumers/customers for the local produce season?
  • Do you use social media to help your local produce marketing efforts?
  • How do you work with retailers to market local produce?
  • Are consumers in your region drawn to local/regional produce? Has that preference changed in the last few years?
  • Do you have special packaging for your local produce?
  • Any other highlights from your marketing efforts for local produce?

June 30 is the deadline for input on the questions.
