Greenhouse grower Mastronardi Produce says it will be the official produce sponsor of USA Flag Football.

The Kingsville, Ontario-based company will sponsor events under its flagship Sunset brand. Mastronardi Produce says Sunset will help fuel athletes and fans with fresh produce while supporting the brand’s mission to connect people through flavor experiences.

“Nutrition is so important, especially for athletes, that’s why USA Flag is a natural partnership for us,” Geoff Kosar, vice president of marketing at Mastronardi Produce, said in a news release. “When produce is delicious and accessible, people are encouraged to eat fresh.”

Sunset produce will be available to athletes from all divisions at USA Flag events throughout the year, says Mastronardi Produce.

USA Flag is leading the flag football movement in the U.S., organizing the Amateur Championships and World Championships, according to the release. The sport has experienced tremendous growth in the past few years and will make its debut at the 2028 Summer Olympic Games in Los Angeles.

“We’re especially excited to partner with USA Flag on their programs geared towards boys and girls youth and high school divisions to encourage healthy eating choices from a young age,” Kosar said. “This partnership speaks to Mastronardi’s purpose to nourish people through fresh food, and we look forward to connecting with fans and athletes over flavorful produce.”
