New Jersey firm awarded $111M contract to supply fresh produce

Frank Gargiulo & Son, Hillside, N.J., has been awarded a maximum $111.46 million contract with the Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support to supply schools with fresh fruits and vegetables.

Frank Gargiulo & Son, Hillside, N.J., has been awarded a maximum $111.46 million contract with the Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support to supply schools with fresh fruits and vegetables.

The contract is for five years, with no option period, according to a news release.

Locations of performance are Massachusetts and Rhode Island, with a July 20, 2027, ordering period end date, the release said.
