New Jersey firm wins $197M supply contract

Seashore Fruit & Produce Co. Inc., Vineland, N.J., has been awarded a maximum contract to supply fresh fruits and vegetables.

Seashore Fruit & Produce Co. Inc., Vineland, N.J., has been awarded a maximum $196.8 million federal contract to supply fresh fruits and vegetables.

This was a competitive acquisition with two responses received, according to a news release. The contract is for five years with no option periods, the release said.

The location of the performance is Pennsylvania, with a Sept. 16, 2028, ordering period end date, the release said. Using customers are Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, and USDA schools, the release said.
