With a California spring vegetable lineup of artichokes, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, cauliflower, celery, iceberg and romaine among its top commodities, Ocean Mist Farms looks for stable volumes in 2021, said Diana McClean, senior director of marketing for the Castroville, Calif.-based company.

About 5% to 10% of the firm’s production is organic, she said, and that has been stable for the past several years.

While in-person visits have been difficult with the pandemic, McClean said the company engages with buyers directly through sales teams, in addition to a robust e-mail marketing program.
