The Packer, CPMA partner to expand Canadian produce content offerings

The Packer and the Canadian Produce Marketing Association (CPMA) are joining forces to expand their content offerings.

The Packer and the Canadian Produce Marketing Association (CPMA), a not-for-profit organization representing companies active in the marketing of fresh fruits and vegetables in Canada, are joining forces to expand their content offerings. This strategic partnership will shine a bigger and brighter light on the Canadian produce market while also increasing coverage of the entire produce industry.

Print media platforms included in the collaboration are Toronto Know Your Market, Ontario Greenhouse, Pre-CPMA, Quebec Produce and Montreal Know Your Market.

“We are thrilled to partner with an organization like CPMA,” said Matt Morgan, Executive Vice President of Produce for Farm Journal. “The organization’s vision lines up perfectly with The Packer’s mission to be the fresh fruit and vegetable industry’s leading source for news, information and analysis.”

Within the year, The Packer and CPMA will also co-host two educational webinars focused on topics important to the Canadian fresh produce market.

“CPMA and The Packer are allies who share common goals and collaborate on a regular basis,” said Ron Lemaire, CPMA President. “We are excited about this new partnership and are looking forward to working with The Packer to showcase the vital role our industry plays in providing Canadians with access to fresh fruits and vegetables.”
