The U.S. Department of Agriculture has lifted Perishable Agricultural Commodities Act sanctions on PFI Express Inc.
The Valley Stream, N.Y., company paid the $57,638 it owed in the PACA case, according to the USDA, and can continue operating in the produce industry after applying for and receiving a PACA license, according to a news release.
Romilda Silva, who was listed as the officer, director and major stockholder of PFI Express, can no be employed by/affiliated with a PACA licensee, according to the release.
