“The Produce Industry Podcast,” a popular produce industry podcast, recently reached a milestone — 1 million downloads and 300 episodes published in its three years on the air, according to a news release.

“Rarely am I lost for words, however 1 million downloads worldwide has left me humbled and speechless,” Patrick Kelly, the host of The Produce Industry Podcast said in the release.

Founded by Kelly in 2020, the brand’s channels engage more than 22,000 listeners weekly with insights from fields, ports, roads and rails, exploring the challenges and opportunities across the food supply chain, according to the release. More than one podcast, other complementary productions include “The Produce Industry Show” on YouTube, “Fresh from the Field Fridays” hosted by Dan Avakian, and a new Wednesday program with host Juantia Gaglio that aims to amplify global perspectives.
