Editor's note: This news release is from retail display and packaging company The Royal Group, Cicero, Ill., about its Shillington Box Co. facility in St. Louis.

Our Shillington Box facility proves “unmatched” in its expertise and customer service as it helps their client expand its national footprint by way of e-commerce.

Rendleman Orchards Inc, a commercial, centennial family farm out of Southern Illinois, was ready to take their business to the next level and expand into retail with a new produce gift box that could be shipped anywhere across the U.S.

Shillington Box not only met the challenge of designing high-end protective packaging that could speak for itself through the customer experience, but they also did it cost-effectively with quick turn-around. Because of the superior quality and service of the initial product launches, Rendleman Orchards was quick to award Shillington even more business with the new launch of a three-jar trio gift box complete with protective sleeve. Shillington met the challenge with ease, providing yet another premium package to speak to Rendleman’s brand image and help increase sales of their product.

Here’s what the customer had to say…

“Shillington Box was incredible to work with from start to finish when creating our new Peach and Apple Gift Box to be shipped nationally. We knew packaging would be key not only in our marketing efforts, but in the customer experience.  While we needed to have a high-end box for this product, we also needed it to meet other crucial criteria such as ability to protect the product and of course cost-effective pricing."

The expertise and customer service Shillington Box provided us throughout the development phase of our new national retail produce gift box was unmatched. Being a commercial, centennial family farm, we have ordered many boxes over the last century from various suppliers. Shillington Box stood out in quality from every aspect. From highly competitive quotes, and sample boxes with custom designed inserts, to quick turnaround on completed finished product, we were impressed!

"Shipping very delicate and perishable fruit across the U.S. direct to consumer is something we were ready to take on and were fortunate to find a partner to help us reach this new goal. Tom Meyer at Shillington Box made the process not only easy but exciting. As a result, we quickly pursued having him create our three-jar trio gift box complete with custom, protective shipping sleeve. Both of these new shipping box solutions will help us elevate our brand, reach new customers, create new revenue for our multi-generational family operation.” — Michelle Sirles, VP/Owner, Rendleman Orchards, Inc.
