New members of Congress will discuss industry issues in virtual meet-and greet-sessions that are offered exclusively to United Fresh Produce Association members.

Hosted through video or audio conference calls, the meetings allow for direct access to elected members of Congress, according to a news release.
Upcoming sessions include:

  • Rep. Beth Van Duyne, R-Texas: 4 p.m. Eastern, Feb. 23;
  • Sen. Tommy Tuberville, R-Ala.: 10:30 a.m. Eastern, Feb. 24;
  • Rep. Frank Mrvan, D-Ind.: 1 p.m. Eastern, Feb. 24;
  • Sen. Mark Kelly, D-Ariz.: 3 p.m. Eastern, Feb. 24;
  • Rep. Peter Meijer, R-Mich.: 3 p.m. Eastern, Feb. 25; and
  • Rep. Scott Franklin, R-Fla.: 10:30 a.m. Eastern, Feb. 26.
