USDA issues solicitation for fresh oranges

The USDA Agricultural Marketing Service has issued a solicitation to procure fresh oranges, according to a USDA press release.

The USDA invites producers to submit bids for fresh oranges for use in the National School Lunch Program and other Federal Food and Nutrition Assistance Programs, according to the release. Acceptances will be announced by midnight, Nov. 23, 2023. Deliveries will be between Jan. 2 - March 29.

The specialist handling this purchase will be Nicholas Wiber at Nick.Wiber@usda.gov. The officer handling this purchase will be Kyla Stoufer at Kyla.Stoufer@usda.gov, the release stated.
