The USDA said that Jack Humphreys, doing business as Zia Onion Sales, satisfied a reparation order in the amount of $8,457 issued under the Perishable Agricultural Commodities Act involving unpaid produce transactions.
The Desoto, Texas, company can continue operating in the produce industry upon applying for and being issued a PACA license, according to a news release.
Humphreys was listed as the sole proprietor of the business and may now be employed by or affiliated with any PACA licensee, the USDA said.
