Karen Murphy, a long-time fruit merchandiser with Indianapolis Fruit Co., died unexpectedly May 11.

Karen Murphy, a long-time fruit merchandiser with Indianapolis Fruit Co., died unexpectedly May 11.

“Karen was a passionate and charismatic individual who always worked to make the best of each situation,” according to a statement from the company. “Her passion for each customer she touched will not be easily duplicated.”

Murphy had worked for Indianapolis Fruit for 13 years, according to LinkedIn.

The visitation and funeral for Murphy was set for 2 p.m. May 18 at Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Portage, Wis.
