A Season & Steam product line extension was the headline news at the Ocean Mist Farms digital booth at the Produce Marketing Association’s Fresh Summit Expo.

“With the value-added vegetable category growing at a healthy rate in the U.S.. the demand for appealing and successful product additions to the shelf is apparent by the engagement we are having with this line,” said Diana McClean, senior director of marketing for Ocean Mist Farms. “We have been able to engage with several retailers about this line extension so I’m concluding that the demand for appealing-shelf ready items in this category is high to capitalize on the consistent upward trend.”

The new items in the Season & Steam microwavable product line are Broccoli Florets, Cauliflower Florets, Cauliflower Rice, Floret Medley and Vegetable Medley. The five new items add to the existing line of Artichokes, Sweet Baby Broccoli, and Brussels Sprouts wholes, halves, and shreds.
