Morning Kiss Organic to offer Vidalia onions

Morning Kiss Organic, Chelsea, Mass., is continuing its partnership with Generation Farms, offering organic Vidalia onions.

Morning Kiss Organic, Chelsea, Mass., is continuing its partnership with Generation Farms, offering organic Vidalia onions.

Generation Farms, Lake Park, Ga., will begin shipping Vidalias in late April or early May. The official shipping date for the onions this season is April 22.

“For the second year, we are excited to offer a complete organic onion program with red, white, yellow and sweet organic onions,” Lauren Dees, sales and marketing manager at Generation Farms, said in the release.

Generation Farms has instituted groundwater management and conservation programs, and has reduced its carbon footprint, according to the release.

“We’re excited to continue our partnership with Generation Farms, a relationship which in fact has now lasted over a generation,” Mike Guptill of Morning Kiss Organic said in the release. “Their commitment to organic farming and top-quality produce is exemplary.”
