Pacific Trellis Fruit and Progressive Produce have named Rodolfo Spielmann as president and CEO, effective Sept. 28.
Spielmann joins Pacific Trellis Fruit and Progressive Produce with more than three decades of leadership experience across the food, agriculture, fresh produce and consumer products industries. Most recently, he served as president and CEO of NatureSweet.
He has also held senior leadership roles at Del Monte Foods, Mars, Central Garden & Pet and Procter & Gamble. Throughout his career, Spielmann has built strong teams, strengthened customer partnerships, driven growth across a range of business environments, and helped organizations capitalize on new opportunities, the companies said.

In his new role, Spielmann will lead Pacific Trellis Fruit and Progressive Produce through its next chapter, building on the company’s strong foundation and continued commitment to delivering high-quality service and reliability to its customers, growers, vendors and partners.
Spielmann’s appointment follows the retirement of Marty Kamer from his role as CEO. Pacific Trellis Fruit and Progressive Produce say Kamer has made significant contributions, helping shape the organization into the company it is today. Kamer will remain with Pacific Trellis Fruit and Progressive Produce in an advisory capacity for the next few months to help ensure a smooth transition and provide continuity as Spielmann steps into his role.
