Food Logistics names SFL Cos. Supply Chain Rock Stars

SFL Cos., Rochester, Mich., has been named a 2020 Rock Star of the Supply Chain by Food Logistics.

SFL, a full-service supply chain management and logistics firm, is profiled as part of the recognition in the March issue of Food Logistics, according to a news release.

Marina Mayer, editor-in-chief of Food Logistics, said n the release that companies receiving the Rock Star status “ensure their company’s supply chains are being operated in an efficient, safe and transparent manner.”

“These professionals are a true example as to why today’s food and beverage supply chains are in position to curtail tomorrow’s consumers’ demands, and why today’s youth should consider the supply chain and logistics industry as possible path of employment,” Mayer said in the release.
