1WorldSync and Mercatus Technologies say their new partnership aims to enhance product data management, streamline rich content syndication and optimize user-generated content across Mercatus’ retailer network.

Through this collaboration, 1WorldSync becomes the primary provider of content syndication services for retailers powered by Mercatus, according to a news release.

CPG brands, including thousands of existing 1WorldSync customers, will now be able to syndicate supply chain and e-commerce content via the 1WorldSync platform to Mercatus retailers. This includes rich content (often called in-line, enhanced, A+ or below-the-fold content) and access to the PowerReviews ratings and review platform, both proven avenues for increasing product detail page engagement and conversions, the release said.

1WorldSync and Mercatus plan to host a webinar April 2 at 11 a.m. ET detailing the partnership’s benefits for suppliers and grocers. More information and registration is available on the webinar webpage.

“As digital commerce continues to evolve, the need for grocery retailers to deliver high-quality, comprehensive product content is more critical than ever,” said 1WorldSync CEO Steve Sivitter. “Partnering with Mercatus strengthens our ability to support both CPG brands and retailers in delivering seamless, data-driven e-commerce experiences by ensuring product information is accurate, compelling and optimized for conversion.”

Mercatus said its digital commerce platform empowers grocery retailers to deepen shopper engagement, deliver personalized shopping experiences, increase average order values, and foster lasting customer loyalty. With the integration of 1WorldSync’s comprehensive product content solutions, Mercatus retailers will benefit from enhanced tools to enrich online product listings, improve search visibility, and streamline the overall shopping journey from discovery through checkout, the release said.

“In today’s increasingly competitive digital grocery market space, retailers win customer trust by delivering accurate, compelling and personalized product experiences,” said Sylvain Perrier, president and chief operating officer of Mercatus. “Our partnership with 1WorldSync empowers retailers to easily manage and enrich their product content, eliminate friction from online shopping, and provide customers with an exceptional digital experience that builds long-term loyalty.”

The companies said the partnership marks a step forward in the ongoing effort to bridge the gap between high-quality product content and seamless digital commerce across grocery retail. Both 1WorldSync and Mercatus will continue to innovate and expand their capabilities to support the evolving needs of retailers and brands, the release said.
