RSM US LLP and RedLine Solutions have developed two-way integration between RedLine’s MyProduce Professional and RSM’s Food and Beverage Accelerators for the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central platform.

The new dual offering provides best-of-breed produce inventory management with MyProduce Professional as well as top-tier produce accounting with RSM on Business Central, according to a news release.

With the new integration, MyProduce Professional synchronizes and updates RSM in real time, providing a seamless software experience from the field to the warehouse dock, to sales and into back-end accounting, the release said.

As produce is received at the warehouse, it is added to bulk inventory via MyProduce Professional and automatically synchronized with RSM. Inventory is likewise updated as bulk produce is packaged into finished goods, according to the release.

This feature allows office and sales staff to always have accurate inventory data for both raw and packaged products, the release said. Because the integration is two-way, it supports the traditional work pattern in which sales or office staff create orders and warehouse staff fulfills them while keeping inventory and shipping status accurate and updated, the release said.

Sales orders created in RSM on Microsoft’s Business Central can be fulfilled using MyProduce Professional in the warehouse, allowing employees to point and shoot with scan guns, increasing both speed and accuracy, according to the release.

“We are very pleased to be working together with RSM to provide such a valuable and seamless end-to-end system for our customers,” RedLine Solutions CEO Todd Baggett said in the release.

The data already stored in MyProduce Professional means that warehouse employees will not have to take additional time and effort to capture and report the data required for Food Safety Modernization Act Rule 204 compliance, the release said.

In addition, MyProduce Professional will include RedLine’s full FSMA 204 reporting support, the release said. This update includes a sub-portal designed to make FSMA harvest location mapping easy and secure for growers, as well as making FSMA report generation a one-click operation for traceability administrators, the release said.

The release said that MyProduce Professional users have historically reached a positive return on investment in less than a year.
