The Packer is seeking industry input on the June 13 special section on packaging and processing technology.

In particular, The Packer is asking grower/packer/shippers these questions:

  • What is your primary incentive to invest in packinghouse technology/automation today?
  • How is your packinghouse/processing operation changed in the last 20 years? What’s the most significant evolution/improvement in how you pack produce?
  • On an average annual basis, how much do you invest in packinghouse/processing technology?
  • What is one unmet need in your packinghouse/processing facility?
  • What type of innovation are you looking for from technology providers?
