Miami-based Alpine Fresh has hired Chris Elmer as vice president of sales.

Miami-based Alpine Fresh has hired Chris Elmer as vice president of sales.

Elmer will focus on managing the company’s growth and gaining new business, CEO Walter Yager said in a news release.

“We believe he is a great fit and will help lead our team as we continue to grow and take Alpine Fresh to the next level,” Yager said in the release.

Elmer has more than 30 years of industry experience.

“I am excited to be joining a well-established and growing company,” he said in the release.

Alpine Fresh is a grower, shipper and marketer of fresh fruits and vegetables, specializing in asparagus, French beans, Brussels sprouts, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries and fresh-cut produce.
