Arable Capital Partners hires chief of staff

Bakersfield, Calif. and Bellevue, Wash.-based Arable Capital Partners has hired Laura Wachter as chief of staff.

Bakersfield, Calif. and Bellevue, Wash.-based Arable Capital Partners has hired Laura Wachter as chief of staff.

In her role, Wachter focuses on the firm’s operations, helping to oversee investor relations, fund operations, compliance, human resources and technology, according to a news release.

The agriculture and food investment company partners with businesses and owners across the food value chain, according to the release.

“Laura brings over twenty years of experience in financial services and operations, primarily in senior roles at Fortune 100 companies,” Greg Richards, managing director, said in the release. “With her breadth of experience, she will help Arable scale as the firm continues to expand its investments in the food and agriculture sector.”

Prior to Arable, Wachter was with Amazon Web Services, where she held global management roles within sales operations, the release said.
