Berry Fresh appoints marketing director

The Compton, Calif.-based company has named Laudan Chaffin as marketing director. She is expected to play a pivotal role in strengthening and elevating the Berry Fresh brand, the company says.

Compton, Calif.-based Berry Fresh has named Laudan Chaffin as marketing director. With 10 years of marketing and sales experience in the produce industry, Laudan will play a pivotal role in strengthening and elevating the Berry Fresh brand, according to a news release.

Building on Berry Fresh’s investment in genetics, high-quality growing and increased supply, Chaffin will help lead Berry Fresh’s marketing efforts to new levels and bring a fresh perspective to existing initiatives, the company said.

“We are excited to announce the addition of Laudan to our team. Laudan brings a wealth of knowledge in effective brand and product marketing, and campaign design and implementation. She will help us build on the success we’ve had in the market by highlighting who Berry Fresh is and why customers should choose us,” Jyoti Bhogal, vice president of sales, said in the release.

Berry Fresh LLC is a year-round grower and marketer of premium blueberries, blackberries and raspberries to customers in the U.S. and Canada.
