Brad Wyllie joins Asian products firm JSL Foods

Brad Wyllie has joined Los Angeles-based JSL Foods Inc. as director of grocery retail sales east.

Brad Wyllie has joined Los Angeles-based JSL Foods Inc. as director of grocery retail sales east.

Wyllie has 25 years of sales experience in retail food, according to a news release, and spent 16 years at Litehouse Foods, most recently as director of retail sales for the eastern division.

In his role at JSL Foods, Wyllie will be based in Bonita Springs, Fla., and will manage customer relations and business development in the eastern U.S., according to the release.

“We look forward to working with Brad and the synergies he brings to our sales team. His industry experience leading another value-added consumer driven product line, and account knowledge, will allow us to better address the needs of our retail grocery chain customers,” Wayne Nielsen, JSL Foods vice president of sales and marketing, said in the release.

Wyllie will support JSL customers with business-building programs in the grocery stores’ produce and meat alternative sections, according to the release. He’ll also develop, train and manage a network of East Coast brokers, and grow business through efforts such as social media, promotional calendars, coupons and consumer recipe contests, according to the release.

JSL Foods’ product list includes Fortune Noodles and Twin Dragon Asian fresh wrappers, according to the release.
