The podcast has evolved to incorporate categories outside of fresh produce and toward food waste, distribution, major growers, hydroponics, high-growth brands, brand acquisition and how it impacts the entire supply chain, the release said.

The Buyers Edge Platform Fresh Division, which comprises Fresh Concepts and Produce Alliance, said in the release that the podcast will feature talented produce professionals.

“Our goal has been to highlight the fun [and] bright personalities of top producers across the supply chain from the field to distribution and all the way through to category management,” Lauren Mitchell, host of the podcast and Produce Alliance director of national accounts for custom distribution, said in the release. “In each of these conversations, we aim to deliver on key insights around cost inputs, traceability legislation, and environmental and sustainability initiatives. The result has been tremendously gratifying for our guests and listeners — ultimately delivering an intimate view at the complexities surrounding one of the biggest needs of our society: safe, healthy, and affordable food.”

“Grounded” is available on various podcast platforms, such as Spotify, Apple Amazon, Google, Pandora, Stitcher, YouTube, Transistor and more, the release said.
