At C.H. Robinson, he was a sourcing manager and then general manager of tropicals and dry vegetables, according to a news release.

He started in the industry at Foodsource LLC in Monterey, Calif., for six years, leaving in early 2005 when he was director of operations to join C.H. Robinson.

He reports to C.H. Robinson President and CEO Bob Biesterfeld.

“He is a strong leader with a proven track record of establishing successful teams built on trust, common goals and communication,” Biesterfeld said in the release. “His many years of leadership across all aspects of the business position him well to lead Robinson Fresh into the future, and I’m pleased with his appointment to this role.”
