Fair Trade USA says it recently added consumer packaged goods industry veteran Dana Dufresne as its chief growth officer.
Dufresne brings more than two decades of sales and leadership in the consumer packaged goods sector, which includes experience in dairy, beverage, confectionary and produce, according to a news release. Fair Trade USA said Dufresne will focus on new opportunities for expansion, implement a comprehensive growth strategy for the organization and bolster relationships with global partners.
“Dana brings an incredible skillset to the table, and we’re excited to see how her ambitious strategic approach will help scale our impact and reach new partners and industries,” said Felipe Arango, interim CEO for Fair Trade USA.
Dufresne’s experience includes scaling organizations to have broader and more powerful impacts; she held roles at Keurig Dr Pepper, Marich Confections, and Land O’ Lakes Inc., as well as Vertage Foods, a tech startup focused on the plant-based dairy segment, and Bird Rock Imports, a wholesale company focused on natural, biodynamic, and organic wines and beers, the release said.
“I am thrilled to join a forward-moving and energetic organization like Fair Trade USA,” Dufresne said. “There is a huge opportunity here to expand on the growth and impact that the organization has seen in the last decade, and I’m really looking forward to being a part of enhancing such a strong and impactful mission.”
