Longtime industry lobbyist Robert Guenther has launched Breakthrough365 Government Relations Strategies. The firm has a mission to provide distinctive strategies to navigate the complexities of government relations in Washington, D.C., and beyond, he said in a news release.

Guenther has over 30 years of government relations experience both as a legislative aide on Capitol Hill and leading the fresh fruit and vegetable government relations teams at the United Fresh Produce Association and the International Fresh Produce Association. Guenther, who served as IFPA's chief public policy officer when he left in September, said his new firm will leverage his extensive expertise to navigate and influence the federal government relations landscape.

“Breakthrough365 will deliver personalized service that achieves tangible results for our clients,” Guenther said in the release. “In turn, this will drive confident business outcomes through extensive U.S. and global capabilities by managing complex industry, political, public policy, regulatory, and funding initiatives. The firm is committed to integrity, expertise, agility, innovation, collaboration, impact and call to service."

Guenther’s career accomplishments include modernizing the USDA Inspection and Grading program, developing the USDA Specialty Crop Block Grant Program and helping establish the Specialty Crop Farm Bill Alliance, the release said.

Breakthrough365 will offer comprehensive services, including legislative and regulatory strategy, coalition building, industry relations, public policy analysis and stakeholder engagement, among others. Over the next few years, the firm will seek to diversify its issue portfolio, expand its client base, and establish itself as a policy and regulatory leader across various sectors, according to the release.

Breakthrough365's initial client portfolio includes Talam Biotech, the Stenzel Group, Controlled Environment Alliance, and Warehouse4Good, the release said.
