FreshEdge, a family of fresh food distribution companies serving more than 25 states, has appointed Wes Saber as chief financial officer. Saber brings more than 25 years of leadership experience across the global consumer goods industry, with a strong track record of driving growth, operational performance and building organizations and capabilities at scale, according to the company.

Saber has held multiple executive leadership roles throughout his career. Most recently, he served as executive vice president and CFO of Haribo of America. He also held several senior finance leadership and CFO roles at Mars Inc.

“His ability to build high-performing organizations and consistently deliver meaningful results makes him an outstanding addition to our executive leadership team,” says FreshEdge CEO Andrew Iacobucci.

Saber has helped scale businesses; establish large-scale manufacturing and supply chain operations; lead business digitization and technology transformation; and support organizations through periods of significant growth, integration and transformation.

FreshEdge says Saber will oversee its financial strategy and operations while helping drive its continued growth and long-term success.
