Giumarra Vineyards adds to grape sales team

Daniel Gomez will focus on export markets for Giumarra’s California grapes and the import market for the company’s Mexican and South American programs.

The Giumarra Cos. said it added to its grape sales team with the addition of Daniel Gomez.

Gomez will specialize in sales to export markets for Giumarra’s California grape crop and imports for domestic retail accounts from the company’s programs in Mexico and South America.

Gomez holds a bachelor of science degree in business agriculture California State University, Bakersfield and has prior work experience in the grape category.

“Daniel is an experienced produce sales professional with a proven record of success in the industry,” Randy Giumarra, vice president of sales at The Giumarra Cos., said in a news release. “He will be a welcome addition to our sales team and will do a terrific job in his new responsibilities. Our family welcomes him into the Giumarra team and looks forward to many years of success.”
