Hazera Seeds names Nicolas Tinel new CEO

Nicolas Tinel is the new CEO of Hazera Seeds, based in the Netherlands and Israel.

Nicolas Tinel is the new CEO of Hazera Seeds, based in the Netherlands and Israel.

Tinel has been at HM Clause for 12 years, most recently as vice president of research and development of global operations. HM Clause and Hazera are part of seed company Limagrain. He joined Limagrain in 1999, and as sales manager, he lived and worked in five countries, including India and the U.S. and India, according to a news release.

In doing so, he learned about the company’s products and areas of production, according to the release.

Tinel said he plans to visit all the company’s divisions to improve lines of communication.

“I want Hazera to continue to grow. Not only in volume, but also by making an even greater difference in quality,” he said in the release. “Taste is very important to this. Furthermore, I aim to make our products as attractive as possible for both farmers and consumers.”
