Pleasanton, Calif.-based berry marketer IMOK Global LLC has a new partnership with professional soccer player Liv Sekany.

Sekany signed her first professional contract with the Racing Louisville of the National Women’s Soccer League in March of this year, according to a news release.

“Here at IMOK Global, we take pride in supporting and empowering women in the workforce,” the company said in a statement. “And we are thrilled to partner with Liv Sekany.”

IMOK says it offers high-quality fruit for essential nutrients for athletes.

“From farm to table, we’ve got you covered,” the company said in a statement.

Raised in Livermore, Calif., Sekany played Elite Clubs National League club soccer with Pleasanton Rage through high school and went on to play soccer for the University of California, Berkeley.

After three seasons and a bachelor’s degree in legal studies, Sekany transferred to the University of Washington where she scored the winning penalty shot in the shootout that sent the Huskies to the NCAA Sweet 16 in the 2020 season. Sekany broke the program record for single-season goals against average with 0.62, beating the previous record set by Hope Solo in 2001.
