The office will focus on heavy-haul, oversize and overdimensional freight, according to a news release. ALC Specialized opened on July 1 in Burlington, Iowa, according to a news release.

Poulter attended Western Illinois University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in construction science and a master’s degree in business, emphasizing supply chain management, according to the release.

“I have enjoyed getting to know Jason over the past several years while he worked out of the St. Louis office,” Tracey Lewin, vice president of sales and operations, said in the release. “I’m certain that, with his knowledge and expertise in this very specific transportation niche, he will easily build off the success he already has. Jason has proven his passion and drive for the specialized flatbed business, and we are very excited to watch our newest branch grow and prosper.”
