Lake Country, British Columbia-based Jealous Fruits, a cherry grower, has hired Doug Sankey in a sales role.

Sankey, who served in sales and marketing roles at Sunwest Fruit Co., Parlier, Calif., for 20 years until February, has been with cherry grower Morada Produce Co., Linden, Calif. He’s been in the industry for 35 years, according to a Jealous Fruits news release.

He will continue his sales role with Morada Produce and move to Kelowna, British Columbia, each season to manage U.S. sales for Jealous Fruits, according to the release.

“Both Morada and Jealous are excited about the new partnership, which will allow Doug to service his customers with a seamless high quality cherry supply from late April until early September,” according to the release.
