Jeremy Galfield joins Pete Pappas & Sons

Wholesaler Pete Pappas & Sons Inc., Jessup, Md., has hired Jeremy Galfield as director of national accounts.

Wholesaler Pete Pappas & Sons Inc., Jessup, Md., has hired Jeremy Galfield as director of national accounts.

Galfield comes from Ruby Robinson Co. LLC, Buffalo Grove, Ill., were he was almost 16 ½ years, most recently as produce manager, specializing in strawberries, watermelons, broccoli and potatoes.

He is based in Chicago, according to a news release.

“Jeremy brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our growing sales group at Pete Pappas & Sons, Gus Pappas, president, said in the release. “We are thrilled to add him to our team and can’t wait to see what new opportunities 2019 brings.”

Galfield said he looks forward to building on previous relationships and forging new ones.

Pete Pappas & Sons is a fourth-generation, family-owned business that celebrated 75 years in 2017. They market under the Patricia brand, and recently started the Pete’s Garden Organics line.

Jeremy says that, “The opportunity to come and work for a first class company like Pappas has me extremely excited, and I look forward to building on previous relationships and to forging new long-lasting ones.”

Pete Pappas & Sons recently celebrated 75 years in the produce industry and sells premium produce under their Patricia Brand label. They also recently debuted Pete’s Garden Organics, a USDA certified organic fresh produce line.
