To-Jo Mushrooms says its sales and marketing team has added Adam Cooney as director of sales and marketing and Johnny Kampes as national account manager.

Cooney has 20 years of experience in retail and wholesale, sales, purchasing, distribution and customer service, and his expertise in the produce industry positions him to drive the company’s strategic vision and foster new opportunities in the marketplace, according to a news release.

“One thing that has never changed in my entire career is working for a family-owned company where morals and values align with me personally,” Cooney said. “My relationship with Tony and Joe D’Amico and the To-Jo team was one of my first vendor-partner relationships in my professional career that was also personal. I couldn’t be happier to be given the opportunity to be a part of the family.”

Kampes joins To-Jo after a professional baseball career in the Baltimore Orioles organization. The company said Kampes’ competitive spirit and teamwork skills bring a fresh perspective to the team.

“I am extremely excited to be a part of the To-Jo Family. We share the same values and morals which makes this a wonderful fit,” Kampes said. “I’ve quickly learned that the produce world is all about people and relationships which I am very passionate about. I am grateful for this opportunity, and I can’t wait to grow my experience with To-Jo.”

“We are extremely excited to welcome Adam and Johnny to the To-Jo family,” To-Jo Mushrooms President Tony D’Amico said in the release. “Their unique backgrounds and skill sets perfectly align with our company values and mission, and we’re confident they will contribute significantly to our growth and success.”

To-Jo Mushrooms, a family-owned and -operated mushroom farm based in Avondale, Penn., says it is committed to advancing its position as a trusted provider of high-quality mushrooms, leveraging the expertise of its team to meet the evolving needs of its customers.
