TeamSense co-founder and CEO Sheila Stafford has joined the Kwik Lok Corp. board of directors.

A leader in product design manufacturing innovation and development, Stafford has worked in companies that directly address customer and warehouse manager pain points, according to a news release. With more than 20 years of experience across manufacturing and technology, Stafford will serve as a key adviser to Kwik Lok’s team, playing an integral role in the evolution of the company by providing strategic guidance to continue innovating the packaging industry, the company said.

“I’ve been a longtime champion of Kwik Lok, seen their product’s impact firsthand, and had the pleasure of witnessing their growth,” Stafford said in the release. “I’m excited to serve the company as part of its board of directors and help usher in their next chapter of innovation.”

Before joining Kwik Lok’s board, Stafford has worked with General Motors and Whirlpool Corp., where she managed product development for the multibillion-dollar North American Refrigeration business, and Fluke Corp., where she was at the helm of one of the brand’s most successful product launches, the release said.

Stafford founded TeamSense to solve the largest issues plaguing companies: absenteeism and digital connection.

“At TeamSense, Sheila has mastered her skills in fostering positive workplace cultures and optimizing operational processes, making her a natural fit for Kwik Lok Corporation’s commitment to its employees,” Kimberly Paxton-Hagner, Kwik Lok board chair, said in the release. “Her unwavering commitment to creating a conducive and empowering environment resonates deeply with the company’s mission and values. As Sheila assumes her role on Kwik Lok Corporation’s board of directors, she will undoubtedly contribute immensely to the company’s growth and success.”

Stafford holds an MBA from the University of Notre Dame and a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Duke University.
