Ag- and fresh produce-focused Moxxy Marketing announced Sept. 25 that Molly Briseño has returned to the agency’s leadership team as president.

In her returning role, Briseño will spearhead client service and agency operations from Salinas, Calif. Founder and CEO Karen Nardozza’s leadership of Moxxy will continue from Miami, where she relocated five years ago.

“I’m thrilled to return to Moxxy,” Briseño says. “Working with Karen and our clients is where I truly belong. Having worked together for 20 years now, she and I are the classic dynamic duo. This is the work I love, with the people and community that make work feel like an important and exciting mission to be accomplished.”

“Ag and fresh produce are part of Molly’s DNA,” Nardozza says. “She has left the agency a couple times to attend to family matters, and has always returned knowing there would be an important role for her at Moxxy. There is no one better or more devoted than Molly when it comes to delivering great marketing and top notch service to our clients. She’s one of a kind and very talented. Having Molly take the helm as President is an exciting change for me, her, our staff and our clients — everyone wins.

“Part of what excites me about rejoining Moxxy in this role is being able to support Karen by relieving her of handling day-to-day agency operations,” Nardozz continues. “She has built a solid business based on a clear vision and the highest standards, but what she’s best at is guiding and counseling clients with her exceptional strategic and creative intuition. Again and again, our clients tell us how much they trust and rely on her marketing guidance, and that’s the work she loves most.”

Briseño’s work in agriculture and fresh produce spans a career of nearly 35 years. She began her career at a seed genetics company then worked at Fresh Express before going to work with Nardozza in the marketing agency business in 2005. Since then, Briseño has held various roles in agency administration and account service, progressing from director of client services to director of key accounts then vice president.

With Nardozza, Briseño has led marketing programs for Braga Fresh/Josie’s Organics, California Strawberry Commission, Chiquita/Fresh Express, Classic Salads, Cold Hardy Citrus Association, Country Sweet Produce, Desbry/WP Produce, Enza Zaden, Field Fresh Farms, Georgia Fruit & Vegetable Growers Association, Monterey County Agricultural Commissioner, Moonlight Companies, Peterson Farms, Tanimura & Antle, and others.
