The National Council of Farmer Cooperatives has promoted Becca Smith to senior director of member and industry relations.

Smith will develop and maintain strong relationships with both current and potential members and the broader agriculture industry, NCFC said.

In addition, the organization said she will lead the Director Education Advisory Committee and organize director education programming at the NCFC annual meeting and in other venues throughout the year.

“I would like to congratulate Becca on her well-deserved promotion and the new job responsibilities that she has taken on,” NCFC President Chuck Conner said in a news release. “She will play a critical role as NCFC looks to create increasing value for our members and as we look to work with like-minded beyond the co-op sector.”
