Know someone who’s an outstanding leader in the apple industry?

Nominate them for 2021 Apple Man or Woman of the Year.

The Packer will present the award during the U.S. Apple Association’s 2021 Apple Crop Outlook and Marketing Conference, Aug. 19-20 in Chicago.

Kaari Stannard was named 2020 Apple Woman of the Year last August at the association’s virtual crop outlook and conference.

Stannard, owner and president of New York Apple Sales, Glenmont, was the second woman recognized with the award, which was established in 1964. The first woman honored was U.S. Apple Association president Ellen Terpstra in 1998.

Stemilt Growers CEO and president West Mathison was the 2019 Apple Man of the Year.
