Pace International hires Julie Smith as senior human resources manager

Wapato, Wash.-based postharvest solutions provider Pace International has hired Julie Smith as senior human resources manager, according to a news release.

Wapato, Wash.-based postharvest solutions provider Pace International has hired Julie Smith as senior human resources manager, according to a news release.

“We are pleased to welcome Julie to our team at Pace,” Rodrigo Cifuentes, executive vice president and chief operating officer of Pace International, said in the release. “Julie brings strong leadership in the development of organizations and in the implementation of policies and initiatives to enhance and develop people’s careers while also creating a more diverse and inclusive workplace.”

Smith will work to identify, counsel and guide organizational design to meet future business needs, according to the release.

Most recently, Smith served as vice president of human resources for McClarin Plastics, according to the release. She had also been director of human resources at Legacy Fruit Packers in Washington, the release said.
