Pacific Trellis Fruit says Scott Grossman has been appointed as corporate controller for the fresh fruit importer, grower and marketer.

A licensed CPA and seasoned accounting professional, Grossman brings over 17 years of expertise in public accounting, with a background in medium-to-large family-owned farming operations and manufacturing, according to a news release. Most recently, he served as a member of the accounting department at Maxco Supply Inc., a corrugated packaging manufacturer for the agricultural industry.

“We are happy to welcome Scott to our accounting department,” said Pacific Trellis Fruit CEO Josh Leichter. “His extensive industry experience and financial acumen will help position us for continued strategic growth.”

In his new role, Grossman will lead the accounting department, reporting directly to Chief Financial Officer Simon Miller. His responsibilities will include financial reporting, cross-departmental collaboration and leveraging financial insights to drive informed decision-making across the organization, the company said.

“I am excited to join the Pacific Trellis Fruit team,” Grossman said. “I look forward to mentoring and inspiring the accounting team while working closely with leadership to develop forward-thinking financial strategies that support the company’s long-term success.”
