Teplitski talked about the continuing need to nurture the relationship between industry leaders and government regulators, the strong working relationship between PMA and United Fresh and the key food safety issues for the new year.

The pending FDA’s traceability regulation will require “a significant investment” for the industry, he said. “It’s an investment that the industry should not be expected to bear alone.”
