The Packer has been presenting this award to outstanding members of the industry for 49 years.

What makes your nominee a worthy candidate for the honor? Larry McIntosh, former President and CEO of the Peak of the Market, was presented with the 2021 Canadian Produce Person of the Year Award for his outstanding contributions to the produce industry.

The Packer’s 2020 Canadian Produce Person of the Year award was presented virtually to Oleen Smethurst, assistant vice president and general merchandise manager for Costo Wholesale Canada.
