Larissa Rice is the new national sales manager for Phillips Mushroom Farms, a Pennsylvania grower-packer-shipper of fresh mushrooms.

The company says Rice is poised to bring valuable expertise and insight to the role, with over 30 years of experience in fresh produce sales and marketing and a record of driving revenue growth and fostering strong relationships. She will oversee Phillips Mushroom Farms’ nationwide sales strategy, focusing on enhancing customer relationships, expanding market presence and leading the sales team to achieve service targets.

“We are thrilled to welcome Larissa to the team,” Sean Steller, director of business development for Phillips Mushroom Farms, said in a news release. “Her extensive experience in mushroom promotion and relationship management combined with a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing our industry will be instrumental in reinforcing our commitment to delivering exceptional quality and service to our customers.”

Rice joins Phillips Mushroom Farms from Monterey Mushrooms, where she held the position of sales director, overseeing all aspects of customer accounts, cultivating and maintaining strong relationships, and driving growth and profitability through new business acquisition, the release said. She was responsible for managing the customer service department and collaborated closely with the farm’s management team to improve efficiency and profitability.

Phillips Mushroom Farms says Rice’s leadership, strategic vision and dedication to building strong customer-centric sales organizations will serve as key assets as the company continues to evolve and focus on customer satisfaction.

“I look forward to working closely with the team to enhance our sales strategy, develop new opportunities and deliver outstanding results for our clients across the country,” Rice said.
